Urgent Special Appeal
At present our Special Needs Programme at the Casa Luminii Centre in Slatina has ceased to function. This is due to political reasons beyond our control.
We are in talks with the Children’s Social Services to renew our contract and they have shown their willingness to resume a new programme. We are currently working to this end and expect some news shortly.
We are fairly confident that we will be able to get a new programme in place by Autumn 2009. Before we do this however we need to refurbish the ground floor premises. This will cost at least £15,000 and we are launching an appeal immediately to achieve this goal. Welcome to the LIM Xpo website!
LIM Xpo is an organisation which is integral to Lighthouse International Ministries (LIMuk). LIMuk has a sister charity in Romania and also India and has many projects running in both countries.
LIM Xpo gets involved by sending people like you, 16 years old and above, out to those projects to work with disadvantaged children and young people who need our help.

What’s happened so far in 2009:
- We’ve joined Justgiving to make fundraising easier for you guys!
- We’ve already interviewed 30 people for the 2009 trips!
